The APIs in this service provide access to the entire American Standard edition of the Holy Bible. This web service is provided free by Francis Shanahan.

The following operations are supported. For a formal definition, please review the Service Description.

• GetChapters
  Lists all chapters in a book.
• GetContentByBookChapter
  Gets all verses in a given chapter and book.
• GetContentByBookChapterVerse
  Gets a specific verse from a specific book and chapter.
• GetContentByChapterVerse
  Returns content based on matching Chapters and Verse parameters. Matching content from all books is returned.
• ListBooks
  Lists the books of the Bible, the ids returned can be used in subsequent function calls to limit your results to that book.
