Biztalk 2004, fantastic

17 March 2005 No Comment

Every so often you come across a piece of software so solid it just makes you happy. Biztalk 2004 is that software for me right now.

Not to say that Biztalk 2004 does everything, but for what it claims to do it does it all and then some.
Message transformation, Mapping, Queueing, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), Full XML/XSD support, Map Designer, Pipelines, .NET integration, numerous adapters, extensible framework, Web Service support, Orchestration designers, integration with Visual Studio.

Just an all-round solid piece of work, kudos to the BT2004 team at Redmond.

The most impressive thing is probably the price, topping out at around $25,000 compared to other offerings it’s an order of magnitude cheaper and probably just as feature rich.

ok, enough said, I’m a fan, touchdown! Biztalk, you worked it out and you did your thing.
Advert over.
