My buddy Mahender writes:
"You may not be interested in this but the cricket world cup is underway in the Caribbean. The unknown Irish qualified for the cup this year. But they stunned the cricket world by knocking out Pakistan of the cup. They upset Pak today with a thrilling win and will most likely move to the next round (Super 8).
India also lost to another minnow team Bangladesh and will find it tough to qualify for the 2nd round."
Actually up until Friday last I didn’t even know we had a cricket team. Not only that but Ireland is still riding high after the recent Grand Slam win in the under 20′s Rugby.
So there you have it. Never under-estimate the Irish on St. Paddy’s Day.
