Jan 8th came and went and I forgot all about the Vanishing Point Game [LINK] mentioned in my previous post [LINK].

So the update anyway is that it looks like are a set of four puzzle boxes. Each week a new one is opened. There are 12 puzzles per box involving the real-world and online.  You have to combine both to solve the puzzle. When you solve a puzzle you get points. I suppose whoever gains the most points wins.

The prizes range from high-end PCs to copies of windows Vista. Top prize is a trip to space in a high-altitude plane.

You know what? I’m incredibly under-whelmed by this contest. Perhaps I’m jaded or cynical. Maybe I just woke up tired today. I can’t get excited about it though. I’m sure I could solve some puzzles and score some points but am I really going to dedicate the next four weeks to solving EVERY puzzle? Someone out there will and will win big. So they get into space. Yawn. I’ll go it some other time.
